Introducing Claymore Camping & Area Lights at Refraction Lighting

We’ve added Claymore outdoor lighting to the range at Refraction Lighting, bringing in a selection of rechargeable area lights, camping lights and string lights designed for everything from compact camp setups to serious work-area illumination.

Claymore has been developing portable lighting since 2002, with a range that sits somewhere between traditional camping lanterns and professional area lighting. What stood out to us is how thoughtfully the lights are designed: broad diffused illumination, multiple colour temperatures, practical mounting options and genuinely useful battery capacities, without making everything unnecessarily bulky.

For compact lighting, the Claymore ULTRA MINI and 3FACE MINI are particularly impressive. The ULTRA MINI weighs just 115 g but produces up to 500 lumens, while the 3FACE MINI steps up to 800 lumens with three-sided illumination and a built-in power bank. Both are small enough to throw in a camping kit, vehicle or backpack without taking up much room.

For larger setups, the ULTRA2 3.0 M and ULTRA2 3.0 X provide much more output and considerably larger batteries. The M reaches up to 1,200 lumens, while the X reaches 2,200 lumens, with both offering IP65 protection, adjustable colour temperatures, USB-C charging, power-bank functionality and standard ¼-inch mounting points. They’re a good fit for campsites, workshops, vehicle setups and anywhere you need broad, consistent light rather than a narrow torch beam.

The 3FACE NEO 10 takes that wide-area approach further. Its three-panel design can illuminate from the centre, sides or all three together, with up to 2,600 lumens in normal operation and a 4,900-lumen Turbo mode when you need to light a much larger area. It also includes fast USB-C charging, power-bank functionality and multiple mounting options.

Claymore also approaches campsite lighting a little differently with the CADENA range. The CADENA 3 uses three diffused light modules along a string, with adjustable brightness, multiple colour temperatures and Bluetooth app control. Rather than carrying its own battery, it can be powered from a compatible USB power bank or other suitable USB power source, which makes it easy to integrate into an existing camping setup. The CADENA UF5 offers another flexible string-light option for awnings, gazebos and larger camp areas.

That versatility is probably what we like most about the Claymore range. These aren’t simply lanterns that sit on a table. Depending on the model, they can be hung, clipped, tripod-mounted, positioned around an awning or used as portable work lighting, with warm and neutral colour options that make them just as useful around camp as they are for getting a job done.
